Changes to Azure Savings Plan Billing

In this release, we are introducing the option for partners to bill Azure Savings Plan (ASP) under the Azure Plan subscription to ensure that the charges related to ASP are billed correctly. This feature is optional and is only available to partners who opt for the new billing process where we process only the One- time Invoice file from Microsoft.

By default, the charges for ASP are billed through the Azure Reserved Instance (RI) subscription in the marketplace. However, it's important to note that if users opt for ASP instead of RI, there can be ASP charges without an RI subscription in the marketplace, resulting in incorrect billing.
